*What is debt settlement?
Debt settlement is a debt management program where your debts will be paid in a set amount of time that you determine. Unlike debt consolidation there is no loan to replace your current debts and there is absolutely no interest. Our network of attorneys and certified debt arbitrators negotiate with your with your creditor settling your debts for an amount below what you actually owe. Debt settlement is an alternative credit counseling to debt consolidation and bankruptcy.
*How do I pay for these settlements? How does it work?
Once our advisors evaluate your needs and payment program they will clearly explain your monthly savings and the amount that will be taken out of your checking account automatically. We establish an escrow account for your payments. The payments go into the escrow account and your debt accounts will be settled on a as need/ best deal basis. Over the course of the program monthly ACH debits from your checking account will be used for funding your escrow. With our system ACH debits out of your checking on the first of every month so you don't have to even write us a check. Over time these will add up and allow the negotiator or attorneys to get the best negotiation possible for you. Once you sign up you don't have to worry about a thing. We handle the payments into the escrow, and our experienced debt negotiators and attorney network handles the settlement of your debt.
*What happens to my creditors while I am on the program?
Our advisors will instruct you to inform all your creditors of all the debts that you put in the program to correspond with our negotiator and attorney network. All they need to know is that you have retained us or someone in our network. All correspondence including any mail received should be forwarded to our experienced debt negotiators. Information about them will be provided once your initial evaluation is complete. The network will handle the your case from that point forward. All information and correspondence between the negotiators, attorneys and creditors will be available online.
